Creed Aventus Cologne 100ml

Ok... so maybe you have a bottle of dior homme. Maybe you have spicebomb - maybe you even have a few tom ford scents - this purchase was my very first creed scent - it is unlike anything you've smelled. not only does it produce a fantastic aroma of fruit, it makes you feel a certain way...almost like you're now part of a prestigious, little known club. I know, it sounds so dumb - and it is...I mean, we're talking about an extremely expensive bottle of cologne. If you enjoy being different and smelling better than anyone else - buy it. Pull the trigger. You will not regret.

I want to start off by saying that I'm a cologne connoisseur. I've pretty much had all of the top men's fragrances since 1995. There have been some special ones over the years but for some reason the house of Creed eluded me at every turn. I was in search of a new cologne and I knew I wanted something different. I did a top 10 fragrances search and I saw that Creed was mentioned a lot. After doing my research I decided to blindly buy Aventus. Wow! The packaging for starters was top notch. Very detailed, might be one of the best packaging for a fragrance I've ever seen. But once I held the bottle I knew I had entered a whole new ballgame. Sprayed it on me and right away I knew this was the unique smell I was looking for. The birch, pineapple , musk, and black currant are present and words can't describe how amazing this stuff smells. The dry down is just as amazing as the initial spray. The compliments are out of control. I spray this when I leave to work at 7 AM and when I get back from work my girlfriend still smells it on me. It projects amazingly and I think the best thing about Aventus is its versatility. I've had it for almost the entire summer and I can't wait to see how it performs in cold weather. This is by far my most complimented fragrance. Aventus is the quintessential masculine scent every man should own. I am sold and look forward to adding another creed cologne to my collection.

P.S. Don't get bogged down with batch numbers. I tried on Aventus from 3 different bottles, from different department stores, and they all smell exactly the same down to every note. I even found someone that bought his bottle two years ago and he can't tell the difference.

This cologne is amazing! If you want to show up in style and attract a crowd wear this.
I walked into my sons practice and just walked by a group of people. They started saying how good someone smelled but they couldnt figure out who it was. To be honest at the time I didnt realize it was me. It took them the entire practice to figure it out. They walked up to me , smelled my neck and said " its you" what are you wearing you smell so good.
It felt awkward but nice. I feel the same way about this cologne but to have people notice and find you just to smell you is pretty awesome.

I was almost reluctant to review this cologne because I so want to keep it hidden, lol. But this cologne is truly awesome. Hermes terre has stiff competition for being my favorite smell on my husband. I've never smelt anything so uniquely delicious as Aventus. It is manly without being overpowering. It has a sweetness without being feminine. All the notes just come together nicely to make it an all together excellent cologne. Oh and the longevity is unbelievable, I'm talking about next day or 2 days later. This is exactly what one should expect when buying cologne at this price.

I drove over an hour to get to the nearest place that sold this stuff. I read a whole lot of reviews online so I knew more or less what to expect when I got there. There are websites that sell this cologne for cheaper but based on the reviews, I wouldn't recommend buying from anyone other than an authorized retailer just to make sure you're getting the real stuff. I smelled nearly all the Creed colognes on display before choosing this one. This cologne did not appeal to me the first 10 minuets my boyfriend had it on... it has a musty smell to it. I guess it had to settle in with his body chemistry but after those first few minuets passed, I couldn't get enough. Just a few sprays does the trick and lasts literally all day long. I definitely recommend this. It is expensive, yes, but I believe you get what you pay for. My boyfriend received compliments from strangers starting the day he wore this cologne. We live in Miami so it's hot and humid about 80% of the year and this cologne isn't too heavy or too light. I feel like it can be worn in the summer or the winter, day or night.
